Jigri was designed to modernize daily labor workforce hiring by connecting job seekers and companies in a simple, efficient digital platform. Laborers can easily browse and apply for jobs, while employers post requirements and filter searches by skill set or project type. An integrated timer accurately tracks hours worked and simplifies supervisor oversight. Jigri’s streamlined approach saves time, improves payroll transparency, and simplifies effort for businesses and workers alike - all while building a more reliable workforce ecosystem for temporary and recurring jobs. The platform is driving a shift away from manual, paper-based labor management toward faster, fairer, and fully digital solutions.

Challenges

Delivering intuitive apps for diverse user groups - from semi-literate laborers to construction supervisors - demanded careful interface and logic design. Building accurate, tamper-proof work hour tracking called for robust timer and attendance software validated against physical job sites. Ensuring trust and payment transparency between job seekers and providers posed workflow modeling and security challenges. Meeting broad device and connectivity standards required deep Android optimization. As Jigri expanded, regulatory compliance and scalable backend infrastructure were critical in managing growing job post volumes and workforce data.

Process

Development kicked off with on-the-ground interviews and workshops with workers and site managers to map common hiring pain points and expectations. The engineering team built dynamic job boards and an efficient work timer system for tracking. Supervisor dashboards enabled quick payroll review, automated attendance logs, and transparent job completion reporting. UI testing with workers ensured simple, accessible flows for daily job applications. QA ran robust device compatibility and payment tests to secure operational reliability. Agile sprints and feedback from both laborers and employers kept features and workflows optimized for rapid adoption and scalability.
