Intellitek Health was built to transform clinical documentation and workflow management for doctors by harnessing AI and voice technology. The platform serves as a clinical virtual assistant, enabling medical professionals to dictate, chart, prescribe, and navigate patient records hands-free, reducing manual data entry and administrative overhead. It seamlessly integrates with EMRs and practice management systems across hospitals, ensuring legal data compliance and security. Intellitek Health’s flexible voice-driven controls and intelligent automation free up critical time, improve care quality, and support rapid adoption in clinics and hospitals worldwide.

Challenges

Delivering natural, accurate speech-to-text transcription for complex clinical language required a resilient pipeline combining Microsoft voice services with custom AI models. Integrating with diverse hospital EMRs and navigating regional privacy requirements demanded adaptable interfaces and solid compliance processes. Automating intelligent prescription suggestions using OpenAI meant balancing safety, clarity, and medical guidance. Routine purging of sensitive patient data on schedule posed architectural and regulatory complexity. Building scalable consent flows for hospital data syncing was critical for adoption across multiple countries and environments.

Process

The journey began with detailed interviews and mapping of doctor workflows in clinics across Australia. Engineers developed a modular backend with seamless integration for speech-to-text conversion, OpenAI charting, and EMR record mapping. Hospital and MedTech APIs were connected for secure access to patient data, respecting user consent and privacy controls. The team created voice navigation flows for medical tasks, chart updates, and record retrieval, aligned with local regulations. Compliance modules (scheduler, data purging routines) were refined through audit and feedback. Pilot deployments validated hands-free transcription and automation, with agile updates based on real clinical use and regulatory needs for global deployment.
